  • Where does LivEzee operate?
    LivEzee currently serves in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, supporting both local families and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) who seek quality care solutions for their elderly parents. Whether you're managing care from a different city or from abroad, we ensure your parents receive the attention they deserve. We intend to cover all of Kerala by end 2025.

    We focus on tailored care plans, compassionate human support, and innovative technology. LivEzee also ensures cultural sensitivity and the highest service standards, making us a trusted partner for families seeking peace of mind.
  • Will LivEzee expand its services beyond Kerala?
    We are a hyper-local eldercare platform currently focused on Kerala, with a core culture rooted in the region. While our primary operations are in Kerala, we also provide emergency support to our clients when they travel within India, both at their destinations and, where possible, along their journey. However, we do not cover international travel at this time.
  • Are there plans for additional features or services in the future?
    Yes, we continuously innovate, including future offerings like virtual reality experiences, advanced AI-driven care, and expanded wellness programs.

    We provide all services that elders need to age at their own homes, including but not limited to care management, concierge, companionship, health monitoring, errand assistance, social engagement, personal growth, and emergency support, tailored to each senior’s needs.   • Can I customize a care plan for my parent(s)?
    Absolutely. Our care plans always align with your parent’s specific needs, preferences, and lifestyle goals.
  • Does LivEzee offer medical services or just companionship?
    We are a comprehensive ageing solution. LivEzee’s services include health monitoring and coordination with healthcare professionals, along with emotional and social support, not to mention our high-quality Concierge services. Our general practitioners meticulously review and approve each care plan, scheduling quarterly check-ups and monitoring external treatments to ensure they meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Do you provide one-time services or is this a subscription model?
    While we specialize in comprehensive long-term care, we understand that your family's needs may vary. We offer flexible options, including one-time services. However, it's important to note that these one-time services may not provide the full benefits of our long-term care programs.
  • Can you help with non-medical needs like errands, social activities, or technology assistance?
    Yes, as a comprehensive ageing solution, we assist with errands, arrange social outings, and provide technology support to help seniors stay connected and engaged. We have a vetted high quality Concierge that provides a wide range of services customised for seniors.
  • Can LivEzee help with relocation or setting up a senior-friendly home?
    Yes, working with professional architects, we provide services like home modification recommendations, and setting up senior-friendly living environments. We also collaborate with expert relocation services to support your relocation needs.
  • Can you help with legal and financial planning for elders?
    We could arrange reputed legal and financial advisors to assist elders in planning wills, managing pensions, or setting up trusts, based on their own requirements and preferences.
  • How do LivEzee’s services support independent living?
    Our personalized care empowers seniors to live life on their terms, at their own homes, ensuring safety, well-being, and opportunities to pursue passions and social connections.

  • How do you ensure the safety and security of your clients?
    All staff are rigorously vetted and trained, all providers are vetted and trained appropriately. Additionally, our processes and technology enable real-time monitoring, ensuring prompt responses to any concerns.
  • What qualifications and training do your care providers have?
    Our staff are certified professionals with training in eldercare, first aid, and emergency response. They also undergo regular evaluations to maintain quality and we have an in-house quality check and audit mechanism.
  • Are all care companions vetted and background-checked?
    Yes, every care provider undergoes comprehensive background checks and verification processes.
  • What measures are in place to ensure quality?
    We have a quality team, that follows strict quality protocols, conduct regular quality audits, and gather feedback from clients to continuously improve our services. Our quality protocols enable immediate intervention, if significant deviations from standards occur.

Technology and Innovation

  • How does LivEzee use technology to improve elder care?
    We use Internet of Things (IoT) devices, digital health records, remote monitoring, and AI-driven predictive insights to ensure proactive and personalized care, but with express client consent.
  • What if my parents are not very good with using smart phones and other modern technology
    While primarily technology led, we are designed for ease of use by even those who do not use much technology. Clients will just need to be comfortable with making calls and connecting to video calls. Further technology training will be provided, based on specific requirements.
  • Can I integrate LivEzee’s services with existing smart devices at home?
    We provide US FDA approved medical grade smart devices that can be used for remote tracking of vitals and activities. At this time, we are unable to integrate with generic smart devices available in the market, as the data generated may not be useable by medical professionals.
  • What is remote monitoring, and how does it work?
    Remote monitoring involves tracking vital health parameters and daily activities through connected devices, as well as CCTV remote monitoring of the home and premises for safety. Alerts are sent to our staff and designated family members if any anomaly is detected. We will immediately contact the elders and ascertain facts followed up with interventions as necessary or desired.
  • Can families monitor their loved ones’ well-being through your service?
    Yes, our app allows families to stay updated on their parents’ health, activities, and overall well-being. Family members are encouraged to keep in contact with the user's designated personal care manager (PCM).
  • How do predictive analytics help my loved ones?
    Predictive analytics indicate health deterioration, anticipates health risks and emergencies, enabling timely interventions and reducing stress for families.

Cost and Payments

  • What are the costs of LivEzee’s services?
    We offer packages for different types of care, based on our understanding of the typical needs of our clients. Our pricing varies based on the level of care required. We are also able to provide totally customized care. Contact us for a personalized quote tailored to your needs.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and digital payment options for convenience. We do not accept cash payments in normal circumstances. Kindly desist from making cash or gifts or donations to our staff or providers.
  • Are LivEzee’s services covered by insurance?
    Coverage depends on your insurance provider and plan. We come across clients with private and public insurance and retirement benefit schemes. We can assist you in verifying your coverage with your insurer. We will also work with our clients in insurance claim processing.
  • Are there any hidden fees or charges?
    No, we maintain full transparency in our pricing, with no hidden costs. All charges are communicated upfront and documented.
  • Can I try LivEzee’s services before committing to a subscription?
    While we do not offer trial subscriptions, you may cancel your subscription any time after the first quarter, if not satisfied with our services. We will refund the remaining subscription amount without interest.
  • What happens if I need to cancel or modify the plan?
    Plans can be adjusted or cancelled with prior notice, as per terms and conditions; any unused funds will be reimbursed without interest. This applies for anytime during your care plan period after the first 3 months or quarter.

Support for Families

  • How does LivEzee keep families updated on their parents’ well-being?
    Our app provides regular updates, and personal care managers maintain open communication with families.
  • How does LivEzee help reduce the load on family/caregivers?
    We act as an extended support system, handling daily care needs, monitoring health, and providing companionship, allowing families to focus on quality time with their loved ones.
  • Can I communicate with the care providers directly?
    Yes, we encourage transparent communication between families and personal care managers.
  • Can I request a specific caregiver or home nurse for my parents?
    Yes, we accommodate caregiver preferences wherever possible, ensuring a good match for your family’s needs. If you have an existing caregiver your family is comfortable with, we can provide services while you retain them. However, in such a case, LivEzee will not be responsible for the quality of care provided by such caregiver.
  • Can LivEzee help families resolve conflicts regarding eldercare decisions?
    No. Our responsibility is limited to professional advice in order to align family decisions with the best interests of the elder.
  • What if I live abroad? Can I still use your services for my parents?
    Absolutely. LivEzee is primarily designed to provide peace of mind to NRIs or children who are not able to be with and take care of their elderly parents, with seamless updates and services tailored for remote family members.
  • Can LivEzee provide counselling or emotional support for family members/caregivers?
    Yes, we arrange counselling sessions and emotional support for families coping with care giving stress or making difficult decisions.
  • How does LivEzee address cultural or language preferences?
    We are a hyper local provider; our caregivers are local professionals, fluent in Malayalam and well-versed in Kerala’s cultural nuances.

Getting Started

  • How do I sign up for LivEzee’s services?
    You can sign up for our services on the website. You can also contact us directly to book a free consultation and begin the on boarding process.
  • What happens during the on boarding process?
    We assess your parent’s needs, create a personalised care plan, this plan is vetted with our panel General Practitioners and Psychologists as well as other professionals like dieticians and physiotherapists if necessary. The plans are presented to the parents to obtain their views and approval and then to the families. Once approved, we will proceed with implementing the care plan, which will be readjusted annually or as health events warrant.
  • How quickly can services begin once I enrol?
    Care plan administration can typically begin within a few days of completing the on boarding process. Other services outside of health and well being are available immediately after sign up.
  • Can I meet the care providers or home nurses before finalizing the service?
    Yes. If there is a need for home nursing or general care at home, with a full time or part time provider, we provide the family and elderly client with all information pertaining to the caregiver/nurse (they are usually pre-verified and vetted by LivEzee). We arrange face to face or virtual introductions to ensure the caregiver is a perfect match for your family.

Cultural and Emotional Considerations

  • How does LivEzee address the emotional well-being of seniors?
    Our primary focus is on the emotional well-being of elders through companionship, social engagement, and programs like inter generational activities and skill-focused workshops. Our care plans incorporate psychological assessments and tailored activities to ensure a positive mindset.
  • Can LivEzee help seniors stay socially active?
    Yes, we arrange social outings, hobby and interest-based classes, tours and other group activities to help seniors maintain an active social life and build meaningful connections.
  • Can LivEzee help seniors learn new skills or explore hobbies?
    Yes, we organize activities and workshops for seniors to learn new skills, explore hobbies, or even take virtual classes for personal growth. We also encourage seniors to help others in the community using their skills, fostering self-esteem and helping them regain their social relevance.

  • How does LivEzee accommodate specific cultural or religious practices?
    We respect and incorporate cultural, religious, and regional preferences into our care plans, from dietary needs to daily routines and special observances. For us, this is an area of critical interest, keeping in mind the ethos of the Kerala society.

  • Can LivEzee support post-hospitalization recovery?
    Absolutely, we coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth recovery through providing dedicated care professionals, physical therapy, medication management, and follow-up appointments.
  • Do you provide hospice or end-of-life care?
    While we do not provide the said services at this time, we can recommend compassionate end-of-life care in collaboration with healthcare professionals, ensuring dignity and comfort for seniors and their families. We can also shortlist facilities and provide care and quality management support, along with companionship.

  • What if my parent(s) refuse help or support?
    We approach such situations with sensitivity, ensuring that we build trust and rapport over time.
  • Can LivEzee accommodate dietary, religious, or other personal preferences?
    Yes, we customize care to align with your parent’s unique preferences and requirements.
  • How do you handle emergencies?
    We have a 24/7 response team for emergencies, working in coordination with healthcare providers and families. Our emergency protocols and processes, take into account the specific living conditions of your loved ones. We identify the nearest highest quality emergency facilities and have ambulance services on standby. Our team is trained in emergency management and we aim to provide the services within the golden window.
  • Can services be paused if not needed temporarily?
    Yes, services can be paused or resumed as per your requirements.
